Is my business information safe with CentralSource?

Yes. Your information is stored in Australia, kept separate from every other business inside the database itself, and nothing is used by any assistant until you approve it. You can see every change, download everything, or delete it all at any time.

Where it's kept

• The database runs in Sydney, with a backup copy taken every night to our server in Melbourne
• Reading your website and drafting your answers runs on our own servers in Australia
• Every connection is encrypted (HTTPS), and the database is never open to the internet

Who can see it

• Each business is kept separate inside the database itself, not just hidden by the app
• Only people you invite can sign in, each with a role: owner, manager, editor or viewer
• Sign-in is by a one-time email link, so there is no password to steal or reuse
• You're emailed when someone signs in from a new device, and you can sign out any device
• Each connected assistant has its own key, which you can switch off at any time

What assistants are allowed to say

• Nothing is used until you, or someone you nominate, approves it
• Each fact has a level: public, customers or staff. Staff-only information is never given to the assistants your customers talk to
• When there's no approved answer, assistants are told to say they'll check rather than guess
• Your public business page shows only what you mark as public

A record of everything

• Every change keeps its history: what it said, when it took effect, who made it and who approved it
• An earlier version can be brought back in one step
• Owners can download everything in one file, or delete the whole workspace, confirmed by email
